Overview

The Streets ("we", "our", or "the app") is an event discovery application for Colombia, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Philippines, and Trinidad & Tobago. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

We are committed to collecting only the minimum data necessary to provide the service. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Information We Collect

Location Preferences

When you use the app, you select a country and city to browse nearby events. This selection is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit or store your location preferences on our servers.

Venue & Event Submissions

If you use the Submit Request form to suggest a new venue or event, we collect the information you voluntarily provide:

• Venue or event name
• Your name (optional)
• Your email address (optional, for follow-up only)
• Phone number (optional)
• Description or message

This information is stored securely and used solely to review and add new events to the app. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require account registration or login
• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs
• We do not use cookies or web tracking technologies
• We do not collect precise GPS location data
• We do not collect payment information
• We do not share data with advertisers

Third-Party Services

The Streets uses the following third-party services to operate:

• PredictHQ — provides event data for our target countries. No personal user data is shared with PredictHQ. See their privacy policy at predicthq.com/privacy.
• Resend — used to deliver email notifications when a venue or event submission is received. No personal user data beyond the submission form contents is shared. See their privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Replit — our app and API are hosted on Replit's infrastructure. See Replit's privacy policy at replit.com/privacy.

Data Retention

Venue and event submission data is retained as long as necessary to review and process requests. You may request deletion of any submission you have made by contacting us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

The Streets is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
